Post Covid Recovery Path
With my personal experience, being proactive helps recover faster with Covid. Here are some ideas on home therapy that helped me and my wife recover fast.
I am documenting things that you might need during your recovery period; hopefully that will save some of your time so you could focus just on your health. I also provided some links that you can refer but totally optional.
Things you might need
Tools
- Vicks Inhaler or similar inhaler
- Oximeter
- Thermometer
- Face Mask (if you do not have)
- Electric Kettle to boil water
- Vacuum Seal Water Bottle for Hot Liquid
Medicine
Note: Taking medicines are optional. Only if your doctor recommends.
- Vitamin C tablets
- Ibuprofen (fever reducer)
Edible
- Root Ginger
- Basil Leaves or Basil Powder
- Cinnamon Stick or powder
- Cloves (Long in Hindi)
- Black Pepper
- Milk
- Eggs
Routine
- Hot tea (Kadha): To ease your sore throat. Make a cup of hot tea three times a day with root ginger, basil, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper and water.
- Drink plenty of HOT water multiple times a day
- Inhale Vicks multiple times a day to ease your chest congestion
- Eat home made food or anything. No restrictions on food.
